Doing a bit of,”fabrication” work on a coworker Fj, despite the bodywork its still incredibly rusty. Nearly 2 years ago we were fitting the transmission to the rebuilt motor, now all it needs is some carb adjustment and massaging. Its been one thing after another that whole time so driving to my place was the farthest its driven in years
The weekends work is fixing the exhaust mounts and getting the passenger seat to fit it’s new fuel tank.

Here’s my ‘64. Still a lot of fun...
I rebuilt the carb last fall before we took it out to Tucson and Nogales.

A) Please check any suspect metal by seeing if you can push a wood center punch thru with the palm of your hand on all critical sheet metal & frame.
B) Use POR 15 on non-visible rusty metal, doing all the prep work.
C) Can anyone tell me how to publish here on Opposite Lock. I need feedback on
a Negative Pressure Hack for Vehicles during Corona Virus Outbreak...Thanks

Don’t you mean “
Positive Pressure”
? Negative pressure in a vehicle would suck in everything.

Its a runner, we patched up the holes forming behind the rear wheels and are calling it good since it’s still water tight with no large visible bubbles.

Negative pressure as in sucking cabin air that people exhale that could contain Mr Corona Virus. I was asked by a LEO to spread my idea on how to reduce the spread of Mr. Corona Virus but have lost my sense of taste, smell & have a fever and thus have limited options...
Note, I don’t know how to post an “article” here.. This is what I need to post: https://davidhh.kinja.com/preview/david-s-negative-pressure-hack-for-vehicles-during-coro-1842682368

Astonishingly... I don’t think it has any rust at all on it. Spent it s life in dry Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho.
I need to drive it more. I “think” I’ve got a wheel bearing going out on it, so probably should be making use of Shelter-In-Place downtime here for basic maintenance.

ah. It’s for possibly infected perps
in police cars. Keep the virus in the back seat.

Not just police cars, but taxis, Ambulances with broken negative air pressure systems, etc. It is to send Mr. Corona Virus thru the engine & catalytic converter to oxidize him into small molecules & ions...
